It is a pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to lead St. James Elementary. The school staff appreciates the sacrifices each family makes to support St. James school. Please feel free to tour this beautiful place of learning with a Christ-infused curriculum.
We are all so blessed to be part of the ministry of St. James Elementary School. Our dedicated teachers commit their time, treasure, and talent every day toward creating a nurturing and welcoming environment in which children can thrive in faith-based education.
Being able to share our Catholic values all day, every day is a privilege and a gift. Thank you again for your support of Catholic Schools. We are blessed by the generosity of many.
Gratefully,
Mrs. Mechelke
St James Elementary School is part of the Regis Catholic Schools system. Regis Catholic Schools consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school located in Eau Claire and Altoona, Wisconsin. Approximately 800 students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade are enrolled in these schools across the system. We also have a 3 and 4-year-old preschool at St. James and St. Mary's.
Our Catholic schools proudly continue a strong tradition of academic rigor and co-curricular excellence with a focus on leadership and service that has been an important part of the Eau Claire area for more than 100 years. Our Catholic teachings are present throughout each day. Living this faith invites young people to develop a personal relationship with Christ. Making faith a living, and conscious part of their daily lives helps prepare students for leadership in the Church and the world.
The skilled and dedicated staff at Regis Catholic Schools offers a highly personalized educational experience with strong relationships between students, staff, and families. Our students are inspired to surpass their own expectations. We offer a demanding and interactive academic program where students of all abilities are challenged to fulfill their unique potential and given opportunities to pursue their own specific interests. Our teachers measure their own success by the success of their students.
