When a loved one dies, the funeral home you've chosen will work closely with St. James on the funeral planning. Fr. Tom will meet with you to plan the liturgy, Mary Kolstad will assist you in choosing songs, and Christine Warloski is available for overall coordination.
Everybody is encouraged to do some pre-planning, to ensure their own funeral contains the songs and readings the prefer.
Documents to assist in planning are in the links at the left.
St. James also has a Mass of Remembrance the first weekend in November for all those who have died in the past year. Family members are invited to carry a candle in the opening procession and put it on the communion rail in their loved one’s memory.
