Francesca LaRosa, Catholic composer and performer, will present a concert featuring her original musical settings of the psalms and the stories behind them. She will share a bit of her backstory, discuss how we pray the psalms within the context of the Mass, and explain why the psalms are set to music, in addition to performing some of her compositions. This event is a free faith-sharing experience for all, one that can be especially fruitful during the Lenten season.
