Becoming Catholic

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

This is the process in which desiring adults grow in their faith-life relationship to God and in their journey to become participating members in the Catholic Church. The process is for unbaptized adults, those baptized in another Christian denomination, and baptized Catholics who have had little or no religious instruction and not been fully initiated. Weekly sessions begin with a September Inquiry Session and continue with regular sessions on Sundays between the Masses. The sacraments are received at the Easter vigil.
